Drop Paratrooper with parachute from the Sky (Plane)
I think it was IMPORTAINT to Drop Paratrooper with parachute from the Sky (Plane) ... I think it is also posible to balance this very easely.

- MakeTransport Planes or Gliters easy Targets For AA or other Planes

- dont give Them eny Armored Support (Maybe only a view very light ones ... AND NO TANKS)

- Short Marking of the position where the Paratrooper want to land (smoke ore flare)

+ let them the ability to drop Field guns,AT guns,MGs,Light Mortars and so on (instat of any Tanks)

+ give them a ability to drop Suply craits (simple Boxes wit out the ability to move or only if a Infantry cary thous in some way)

+ all Paratroopers are invisible behind enemy lines (i mean no devormation of tne Frontline until Fight)

Why i think we nead this .... beacause it adds some more tactical variety and Deapnis in to Steal Division
And because it was the only way to suport regular troops which was captured behind enemy lines.

PS: Sorry for my bad Eng. it was only School Eng.
...... and i like when FOBs comes back in some way :P

Ain't gonna happen, devs have said this many times in WG and will probs say it many times in this games life, dosn't fit scale of the combat at all and you either para-drop behind enemy lines, which is too close to the front line here to be safe and will likely get shot down by fighters, or para-drop behind your lines, which is kinda pointless.

Just as Sekhemkhet said.

It's been said many times and unfortunately will have to be said many more times.

It won't happen.

Your paratroopers will get destroyed by FlaK.

Paratroops don't work that way IRL though. You don't have a guy ordering a para drop like you would an arty strike. Paradrops are a strategic or operational-level concern, not a tactical one.

All the paradrops in normandy happened on day 1 or immediately before the landings started. None of the battles in the game had paradrops. Paratroopers moved in on foot or in vehicles.

But being able to spawn paratroopers in the middle of the map before the battle starts might be pretty cool.

Thats we all said before in deploying fase could paradrop. That was the biggest disapintment for the time being. In Wargam RD you had the campaing with a good tactical map, fun to paradrop and have some para in mid of your target land and then you must fight you way out before you could get further more reinforcements. I do not understand if you have so much airborne troops they did not like the aspect. Say we are mad or out of our mind, it does not fit the battle scale?
It was a half year later or less. Marketgarden. They dropped half of the airborne in flank position, you know al the historical movies and it was also used in Close combat series. So why it does not fit i do not understand.
May be i had more fun RD because of paradrop or better understanding of the troops in RD but i am bured about mechanic, It was "dynamic" frontline, it also is less dynamic, only "horizontal" reinforment points. So it always a rush for choik point otherwise you be slaughter and get less point and reinforment because you lost ground. I bought it directly by paradox so no steam refund for me, Maybe it was too i was very disapointment, offtopice bad , small campaing, Real airborne, tactical map layer was really expected. Bad job. But may be they do great job after some year. If i saw it right, RD the dlc free Second Korean war was also half year later added or more. So may be a bit patient and the game will be better, sometimes Paradox does toe with al tere patches or very expensive dlc. After 5 years you can for example EuIV is finished and you buy all dlc with great discount. Patience would be the key i guess ;-)

I remember RD when people would spam helicopters all over and have "survivors" running all over the damn map. It was stupid.

Blackhawk down, the movie on real stories, there were too survivers who fight to bitter end. They were a pain in the piep for the rebbels. So thats real airborne war, you can be shot but some survive to make your war a hell
