Back in 2019 I didn't have this problem when I installed the Apolyton mod the first time. I have returned after losing all my data months ago, new RX 6800, decided to get back into the game and I found the folder with the video files and they won't play but I hear the audio. Windows tells me that the file format IV50 is not supported so I looked it up and it's a very old coded named Indeo codec. Found it, tried to install it, but it tells me I already got Indeo Codec 5 installed which is a later version than the one I was trying to install (didn't know that). I booted up the game and the videos play! They're not pretty, but still clear enough and it's about the same as I remembered it back then on my Win 2000 and XP computer.

I hope it helps at least some of you if this doesn't work.
