Should i buy this game or not?
Judging by the reviews, i don't see anything honest, almost all of the reviews are people who don't know how to review properly and will only like this because it's Danganronpa with furry dragons. The game is cheap and that's fine to me (it costs 36 AED, but i don't see the point to include "Digital Deluxe" which is not necessary.) and when i watched the trailer i don't see any gameplay to it, it's just basically character introductions.

I would've supported the devs if the game screenshots had anything interesting to it, all i can see at the screenshots are players interacting with characters and that's it.

...That's the game. It's a visual novel, the 'gameplay' is selecting dialog options and reading interactions with the characters.

EDIT: Okay, and sometimes instead of dialog options it's which person to talk to or (on a couple occasions) which place to go. But structurally? The whole thing is a dialog tree.

It's labled as a Visual novel, you come here and complain that there is no gameplay. All of the images ARE the gameplay. And all the reviews ARE honest. I don't see your problem. Sure, Visual Novels aren't for everyone and they are definitely more for people who tend to read stories and books. All i can say is if you search for active gameplay, don't buy it. If you love to read stories and make the story yourself, buy it.

"all the reviews ARE honest" Right, so about "gay dragons" and banging one of the characters, that sounds SO honest, right?

Well yeah... it's just true... lol. As i said: Buy it or not. It's entirely up to you. You made a thread, expect people to prove you wrong. If not, then forums aren't for you.
Well, easiest way to explain the game would be.

A book where you make choices which impacts the story with visuals and music to go along with it

Here's an honest review by a friend. I think it's pretty accurate to the game/novel/whatever-you-call-it.

That's accurate to the game, the same 5 dragons can be romanced regardless of what gender you are and 4 of the 5 dragons you have (implied) sex, with number 5 saying he's not ready for sex yet but loves the relationship you have together. I think there are... 4? dragons that you can have a one night stands with that aren't romance options, I know there's at least 1.

I'd note that player character gender is never addressed, as opposed to being explicitly chosen...but yeah.

Degeneracy at its best.

Would you have posted this on a "dating" sim that only had humans, showed the sex on screen, and your player character made it clear that he didn't care about the characters he was "dating" and only wanted them for sex?

Because Steam has games with all those things, while this game has none of those things.

It's 2017, the internet has moved on, it's no longer acceptable to hate furries simply because furry.
ulzgoroth May 7, 2017 @ 5:04pm
So the answer is 'you probably shouldn't' I guess, but I guess it's worth noting that the game is in fact mostly to do with...well, a plot I'm not going to spoil here, and that you're at no point required to do anything sexual with any dragons.

Some flirting is unavoidable if you're playing for the true ending, though.

2 of the dateable characters are female and 3 of the characters are male, so it doesn't matter what gender your character is some are gay/bi.

That's where you're very wrong, kid.

Furries hate bronies, bronies hate furries, you would've jumped in and tried to unite them but no, you'll be expecting alots of backlash.

Seriously who are you? John Oliver? This meme is dead, stop mentioning it.

What does that have to do with the current topic? I don't care if the game had gay dragons, if it's about mystery murder, it gotta allow you to investigate instead of kissing and smooching with dragons you don't even care about because they AREN'T REAL.

So your point is that reviews are dishonest because they talk about content that is in the game and important to the reviewer, but isn't the part you wanted to hear about?

It's a visual novel and mechanically doesn't do anything far out of the norm for that. If you don't know what that means, see my initial reply.

No, i mean most reviews are shorter and only mention dumb memes that makes reviewing on Steam worse than sucking ass at playing games on Polygon headquarters.
