Why is Saturn so strong?
All other bosses i have battled besides the final boss, do reasonable if not too weak damage, but Saturn just beats half my team in 1 turn, why is that

That fight was a massive pain. I ended up finishing all the other eras before going back to that one, and still had to do some prep work. I agree she's a bit overtuned relative to the other bosses. At the end of the day, Game Gear carried my party to victory during my first playthrough. Lawd, I love that gal.

Yeah, mine hit enemies for 17k (each hit!) with her normal attacks at the end of the game, before any buffs/debuffs are even applied. And with her ultimate weapon she probably goes even higher than that, but I didn't even put any of these to use. Game Gear is a beast, high specs in a small(ish) frame.

Actually, at that point I'd been using her as an item vending machine since I didn't wanna grind out levels for her other classes to bring them up to par. If you're into playing a safe, defensive game, she's absolutely perfect. Buff everyone up the first round, then on subsequent turns toss an item as needed and end turn. Just using items as needed and nothing else lets her squeeze in a turn where bosses would otherwise double you (which is death when they start using their EXE Drives). I actually still use her as a buff/recovery bot at the end of the game, because a team of Segami, Mega Drive, Dreamcast, and Game Gear leads to simultaneous overwhelming damage and near insurmountable staying power (the latter is unnecessary if you abuse Mega Drive's Charge and Dreamcast's EXE, but I don't exploit Fever Time, so...)

after a few failed attempts i finally beat Saturn with the party of IF(lv39, class one MAX) Segami(lv39, class two MAX) Nep(lv38. class MAX) Iris Heart(lv38, class lv18), NO DEATHS! was pretty challenging but a great fulfilment.

thought i would share my setup to help those who are having trouble:
Pre-Battle
1. All my party members have Code Armlet equiped, the one that costs 3500C with higher MEN boost (im playing with ♥♥♥ text so bear with me if my translation happens to be a bit off)

2. formation setup: Slash Rush (INT, MEN +100)

3. all party members equipped with the 7500C weapon, with the exception of IF; i gave her a Blast Edge that i found in the ruins

4. make sure FEVER guage is full, and ideally full SP aswell. (my Iris Heart had only 250SP when the battle started, so i had to feed her SP chargers)

5. prepares some SP chargers (the +200 ones will do fine), and also a few HP potions just in case

6. some skills setup that you need: equip IF with the AG Cut and change form boost (donno what it's called in Eng), Segami with the VIT MEN boost, NEP with AG burst and hero's boost, Iris Heart is healer so Heal UP 1

7. Use Segami's second class.

During-Battle
1. as soon as the battle started, i had eveyone change their form except for Segami

2. use Segami and NEP to give the party a good MEN boost. (NEP's boost is better cause it also boosts AGI which gives you a chance to dodge Saturn's skills)

3. VERY IMPORTANT: remember to SPREAD OUT! to avoild getting an AoE hit

4. only use NEP and IF to attack! the other two will defend and heal most of the time and attack occasionally. have one character hog the BOSS while the other do the HIT-and-RUN tactics (attack to near red and then run away)

5. if any party member gets a hit from the BOSS use Segami's HP Limit Break skill to heal and double the MAX HP (yeh i used this skill for all my party members, you see why i needed to stack up some SP chargers)

6. have Segami change to Mega Drive form to debuff the boss and then change back for Healing purposes.

7. keep attacking until the boss HP drops to around 1/4, then unleash FEVER and finish with IF's EXE skill (everybody loves to watch a grand finish right?)

8. Enjoy the fulfilment! =)
hope it helps

**some numbers reference: the party had approx. 800MEN; with buffs one hit from the boss is around 2.5-2.8K, without the buff my NEP took a Crit hit with 5K damage >.<

That's a really early level to kill her at. Congrats on a difficult task.
I managed it in the mid 40s with the damage limit break formation.

I can't imagine anyone not using that once they get it! :)
Hitting Saturn with 32-bit mega edge and doing nearly 13,600 damage with Stat Multiplier buff is pretty much nice.

I'm surprised you managed so well with jut the cord armlet, since you could have gotten much better armlets just from the 3 story Toyopolis. :)

Heck, Nepgear's era version of Lava ruins can net a Trapahedreon. That's going to help a ton.
