Hi Everyone,

Thank you for purchasing THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIV STEAM EDITION!

We at SNK, and the development team at Abstraction Games have worked hard to make the Steam Edition as great as it can be, but you never know, an occasional bug might have slipped past us.

As a guideline, please supply as much of the information below as possible, so we have a bigger chance of fixing the issue:

A clear title
Put a brief description in the title when posting an issue. This helps us categorize issues and correctly route them to the person working on a fix.

Full description and reproduction steps
Please be as elaborate as possible in explaining what the problem is and, if possible, add reproduction steps so we know how to reproduce the problem.

Videos and screenshots
Adding videos or screenshots of the issue can help us understand what you encountered. Please feel free to add these via external links using One Drive, Dropbox, or Google drive.

Attach a DxDiag file
You can create a DxDiag file by following the steps below:
- Press the start button.
- Type “Run” and press Enter.
- Type “Dxdiag” in the field and click “OK”.
- The tool will show up and allow you to press the “Save all information” button at the bottom right of the window.

You can also use Pastebin.com to post your DxDiag files and place the link directly in your reply.

Sorry to hear that. Can you send us your dxdiag information so our devs can take a look?

Also, does it crash immediately or do you get to see the opening logos, etc first?

There's still a ton of performance issues both online and offline, not to mention lobby issues which have been present the entire time...

There were a couple of updates between Beta and release, yes.

If you could report any specific issues you are having in this forum that would be very helpful.

I have some problems with achievements unlock. The achievement about pass the story mode on the level 5 CPU difficulty without continue. I meet the condition many times. But the achievement is still locked. Not only I have this problems, please fix it, thanks.

Can confirm. This was the first Story Mode achievement I attempted and I didn't unlock it.

This really is a low quality port, SNK has no business asking full price for this. :/

My game are runing below 60fps when I'm online. Even at 44 fps sometimes.

My configuration runs the game at stable 60fps before launch, so I can say this is maybe a new problem.

I am getting the same issue. :(

Its 60FPS when offline but online its 40FPS.

Is the keyboard input issue still being fixed or what?

I've learnt if you miss ↓ in ←↙↓↘→, it still works.

However, if you miss ↓ in ↓↙←↙↓↘→, it will NOT.

Is there any offical annoucement of this issue?

As I posted first day when I bought this game, I've been playing kof for 15+ years on different platforms with numerous players. Sometimes I need to use super special moves to anti-air like IORI's. You have to react and finish the input really fast and there is no time to stop at ↓ at all. Games between good players are really intense and you may lose a game with one tiny mistake. You won't have too many opportunities to hit your opponent so you have to finish a combo with 100% success rate.

I seldom post critism against game makers/operators but this time I am really frastrated. KOF 14 is a good game and there are a lot of keyboard players around me considering to join. But with this issue, I don't think a high level player can really enjoy this game with keyboard.

Before I bought Closed Beta, I was told by our Chinese KOF community that there is a keyboard input issue. I still bought the game and believed it will be fixed soon. Please don't disappoint me and at least tell me if you guys are working on this issue or what.

Free Match:online mode.

It will search to no end & not let me cancel the search, keeping me stuck in online search mode. I have to reset the game to get out, PLEASE FIX this. Thanks
