I love the AI, now they give real challenge and can combo properly
yes but its so easy to do it!
If you do a fireball they'll either roll or block or try to jump, so characters like Athena, Heidern and Iori can easily bait them to roll then punish after. See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCagrexbyAA
On the other hand Kula can just jump CD and crouch B all day outside of their attack range so that when they try to do anything they get hit, and you can convert into a combo.
Frankly the AI teaches some really bad habits as the things that work on them won't work on players.
Just play on a lower difficulty unless you're going for the achievement. Get your practice on real players.
While true that the lvl 5 a.i. has a few exploits to beat it more easily. If you try and play it without using those it is a real challenge to the majority of people playing the game. I mean I can win lvl 5 matches most of the time but only with like 5 characters. The rest I need a lot more practice to win agaisn't lvl 5 a.i. constantly. I still haven't gotten the achievement though as the farthest I've gotten in Story mode on lvl 5 without continues is like stage 6. I need a bit more practice to finish but alternatively I find the bosses in this game very easy compared to earlier KOF games (2002 dream match and KOF XIV).
