A lil' rant between SFW and NSFW Version Differences [Spoiler Talk]

If you've played the NSFW version, you all know what you went for. So, if you were to compare both scenes, there's a big problem between both, and it's how the relationship evolves is handled.

In the NSFW version, when defending for Clouded Leopard, you do it with Lin Hu in order to be left unharmed and "trust" him even further in order for him to possess you and protect you from Likulau. If you kept going and you were nice with Likulau, you get the same scene, which is basically the same with Lin Hu, bonding to be possessed in order to find Leopard Cat.

In the SFW version, it is the same reason, you need to bond and truly trust them in-order to be possessed. However, here is where the SFW version truly shines, because you get actual development within both Lin Hu and Likulau, specially Likulau since he actually declares he feels love for you, while in the NSFW you get the satisfaction of sex, yeah, but not the romantic output you hoped for.

Sex and Love shouldn't be exchanged like that, and even bigger than that, it can't be that you only get to hear a love input from here ONLY if you are going for the True ending which is, being with the 3 cats. If you instead went for Remote Control, which is basically the Happy Ending with only Likulau, he never gets to tell you he likes you, he only implies it by feeling lonely that you are gone.

And, let's not talk about the rape scene with Leopard Cat.

I played Limited Version because Im just curious but I official,mainly played the Standard Version , thats why .

Right. An ideal version would have the Clean and Limited scenes together.

Clean version is weak because the scenes where Likulau and Lin Hu profess their feelings should naturally be followed by the Limited scenes, but in Clean they just kind of... kiss it out? Not totally satisfying.

But the Limited version is unsatisfying as well because you get the Limited (xxx) scenes which are sudden and somewhat shallow because they lack the emotional talks from the Clean version.

I'm guessing they removed the Clean talks from Limited because it would mess with the story flow if, while anticipating attacks from Likulau/ Leopard Cat, the character had some drawn out emotional talks -and- had xxx. That said I didn't hate either ending. They just felt somewhat hollow without the other one.

It’s kinda a bit weird with the differences between the NSFW and SFW versions of the scenes because when I got the nsfw versions to localise I had no access to see the sfw scenes other than a paragraph of context. In my revision work I’ve been doing to localise the game now that it’s out and I have the full scripts I’ve started to get to both of them.

The contents the same between both versions and there’s only so much work I could do on my end but I’m gonna see if I can work more of the elements the sfw ones into the limited edition now that I know what’s there.

I don’t have much time to go over stuff I already localised with so much of the game left to work on but I’ll try to have a crack. (I did add more romance to the nsfw scenes to begin with as well as tone down parts of senpais scene before release which seems like it was a good decision)

Ayyy Koru, just dropping by here and your discussion came up so thought I'd add something, anyways you make some good points in how it actually did shine than the nsfw patch route, and it's much more believable as well

I think that's not good idea - cutting plot content in full 18+ version, where it exists on Steam. I'm disappointed so much. Who is doing such things?..

That's insane. People can think that the plot is even worse in development... Uuugh :(

Thanks for explanation. Better they included all scenes in 18+ version. I don't understand such a stupid decision
