That is why I'm glad I got the outfit I wanted while the game was still up.
Could be an issue with a specific hardware or driver. I tried it on a brand new PC with Windows 11, it worked like a charm.
I'm not sure, unfortunately.

Try adding this launch option in steam for Laser League:
cmd /c "set OPENSSL_ia32cap=:~0x20000000 && %command%"
You'll see a black command prompt window pop up but you can either leave it or minimize it.
Seems to be a bug with newer processors and an OpenSSL library.

Fixed it! All that was necessary was changing controller API in the menu. I switched the setting to "direct," and instantly good to go!
