Cross platform to save the game?

I have this game on all systems, but by far the xbox community is the largest and most active. For the PC players its dead. Zero active players, and for those who experienced that i doubt they will purchase this game again for console (if they even have a console). Mean while, those who play against other humans love this game to death like myself. Why not incorporate cross platforming to get everyone involvded in a game, that once played with other humans, is adored and loved so extremly???

Given that it is specified on steam that acontroller is strongly recommended, I don't believe there would be any inequality between plateforms. If the Xbox community is indeed alive i could only see this as a good thing

I just bought this game on ps4 and I litteraly can't find 1 player. I love the game but actually just wasted 15euro because it is boring to play alone.

Problem is cross-plateform can't exist if the company that owns the console doesn't agree to it, so we just have to hope for Microsoft to be OK with it

Cross platform wont help game is dead on xbox 1 and ps4 too....
(maybe if they put LL in ps plus this help a little and there will be crossplay also game is in xbox game pass but ppl have "better" games to chose from more than 100 titles )

Yeah I guess because it seems like the obvious course of action given the low playerbase and the fact that the game is played with a controller.
