Custom Interface Themes?
Is there ever going to be an alternative to the orange/teal color scheme? And some GUI elements I just don't want on my screen, like the bubble menu bar and the splitter handles. They're a waste of real estate.

Please give us a choice in how the program looks and feels. Because it's an odd looking/feeling program currently.

Hi *generic undead,

Thank you for your suggestion. Different color schemes and UI customization are on our list, but will most likely only make it into the next program version, as it is not trivial to add this functionality to articy:draft 3.

Best regards,
Karsten

Thanks for the response Karsten, I'm just disappointed that V3 didn't get any customization features. I already requested it about two years ago but V3's GUI looks the same as V1 and V2. And it actually is a big deal to me. The teal/orange colors and the wasteful widgets are usability obstacles with my setup, my Windows font/glyph scaling, my eyesight, and the places I like to sit and work.

yeah... looks like another 2 years have gone by... lol
Articy is functionally great, but UI is dated.
Hopefully v4 isn't too far away..

I really hated the UI at first. I even uninstalled the app thinking no way something so outdated design-wise could be any good. But after watching the tutorials and learning the app's power, I gave it another try. Now, I still wish there was a way to theme the app (anyone from Artisy still listening?) but I kinda like how the colors are so different from anything else I use. It makes me think "Ok now I'm working on my game". The only thing still bugging me enough to drive me into digging into the code is the icons and I imagine that will be easy enough to change once I'm bothered enough to actually do it.

Yeah, it's a great app and there's really nothing that does everything Articy does in one package. I just wish you could zoom the interface in and out. Not just the flow control and location areas, but the entire UI. I keep trying to CTRL + like every other app on the face of the planet, but no dice. The font is fairly small when editing entities and such, and my eyesight has seen better days.
