Game Crashing
The Game crashes on launch for me, show's a Raiden V window for about a second then dissapears. PC Specs are Ryzen 7 3700k & RTX 2070 Super if that helps.

Would love to try this game out, looks cool.

Issue Fixed (for me) look below

Ok it seems for some people it is a Intel Graphics driver issue. for others it is a steam initialisation issue. My problem was the latter, here's what fixed it for me.

Step 1: Open Task Manager.
Step 2: Find "Steam Client Bootstrapper"
Step 3: Force Quit the Steam Client.
Step 4: Re-open the Steam Client.
Step 5: Open the game.

If this doesn't work check to see if your monitor is running at 60hz, Forcing it to 1080p 60hz whenever you play the game or otherwise just try forcing the Raiden V executable to use your Integrated GPU.

Hope this works for everyone

I just try'ed to launch the game and got it running, It might be a steam initilisation error caused by the steam client service not running, to fix this force quit the steam launcher in task manager and then relaunch the launcher, then launch the game. Hopefully that will work.

So I had to launch it using the integrated display chip and not my GE 1070. Make an exception for it and try that.

Game seriously needs some updates.
Been using my integrated graphics chip instead of my Nvidia GTX 1060 6gb to avoid the instant crash on run. It consistently crashes at the space stage making the game impossible to complete.
I'd suspect my integrated graphics causing troubles as well along with a bit of slow down.
It's a shame really.
Least Raiden 3 and 4 still run wonderfully.

Think it has to do with the game running on a monitor running at anything other than 60Hz. Works fine on external screen 60Hz, crashes immediately on laptop screen 144Hz.

I play on an Acer Predator Helios 300 Laptop and the Game starts on the onboard Chip without any Problems, but it won´t launch when i try to start with my Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050ti.

I thought this would have worked. I have a 95Hz monitor so I changed it to 60Hz but it didn't fix this issue for me.
reckon luck May 10, 2020 @ 2:34am
I had to go into the Nvidia control panel and force the Raiden V executable to use my integrated graphics card in order to fix the crash on launch.

I don't even have Intel graphics drivers installed. I've never used my PC's integrated graphics. There has to be another way, right?

Thanks!

I'll give that a try. It'd be nice if the developers didn't make me work so hard to play their game, though..
