German Options and crap

For some reason the game is in german (menu and everything). I found something to change to english, but it does not change everything to english. Why o why is this thing installed in german? who does such things?

Usually the game looks at your computer's systems settings and uses that for the language. In any case, you can change the language in the Options menu - CTRL-O, then select Text and Speech and click on the top text label until it changes to English. If you're in German, then look for Text und Sprache. If you're still having trouble, contact us for support at https://thimbleweedpark.com/support

I have the same issue. The subtitles are still in German, even though the language is set to English. Is there any way to get a full English version (subtitles, in-game signs, etc. ...), even though my computer's systems settings are in German?

it is an extremly odd developer decision to ignore the steam settings of the prefered language and come up with an own idea of what might be right (instead of just asking during the install - crazy!). I have no clue why the os seetings should determine the language settings of an application. but to top that decision with an even worse way to change it (you have to click through the languages, it should work) is even stranger.

I've got the same problem - uninstalled & re-installed at least 5 times - followed the developer's instructions above (CTRL-O) & changed the "Text und Sprache" settings - all to no avail!

Finally got it to run in english by following the instructions (CTRL-O) again & again - & Voila! - It finally worked- make sure you check BOTH boxes & change the language - will probably take more than 1 attempts - but it finally worked for me - good luck!
