That "Blazing Saddles" Betamax Tape! (SPOILERS!)

Okay here is my theory, you might have missed it because it´s not needed to complete the game.

The beta tape foreshadows the ending.

If you pick up the pizza coupon which main purpouse is to enter the code for the fence in front of the pizza van and put it into the Betatron 3000 (you may have to use 1138 tube you don´t need someplace else anymore to make it work first) you will get a Betamax tape you will not be able to watch because it is 1987 and not 1977 (hehe).

But that particular tape is the Mel Brooks comedy classic Blazing Saddles. And if you read it, it says something like "great movie, not sure about the ending though" which foreshadows the game´s ending AND it´s reviews.

If you remember that ending of this groundbreaking comedy western, it aprubtly ends with the characters riding into a seperate movie studio disturbing the filming of another film. Thus revealing it was only a movie all along. Other possible films with that twist could have been Monty Python and the Holy Grail or Alejandro Jodorowskys The Holy Mountain, but I think Blazing Saddles works great for this.

So my imaginary hat goes off to whoever of that writers thought of putting that reference in, I thought it was quite brilliant!
