Getting a disguise in the hotel

For ♥♥♥♥♥ sake.. i've walked everywhere in the hotel when i'm there for the meeting with the teddy bear pillows. Gone to every single floor, can't do anything to get the clothes from the kid. This is pissing me off.. any hints? I think I should have chosen casual not hard.

Have you proven to him you're the coolest yet? If so, give him something much newer and less mainstream.

Talk to the annoying kid by switching his boombox off. You then need to solve a Monkey Island Sword duel type of puzzle by chosing the right dialogues and after that can trade one of the teddies for his glasses which of course totally is a zak mckracken reference

Damn... thanks. I thought that the first dialogue choice was still the same one after I first talked to him. Turns out that's all I missed. Something so simple :Z

This puzzle actually makes more sense if you're in your 30's since the game is supposed to be in 1987. If not, you can just fumble through it.
