Which options do you see after you select west+west+north?
Examine Paintings

I don't like text adventures, I quit.
Hi GeekGirl,
have you used the red gel decoder on the hint book? The option to crash the game using a particular word becomes available only if you combine these two items.
Hello MarselPrust,
sounds like the KB2999226 (Universal CRT) which is part of the Visual C++ Redistributable Package failed to install on your computer. Unfortunately, on some machines this Windows update seems to fail to install. You may need to manually install the correct Windows update (KB999226) for your OS.
The exact package you need to install differs depending on which version of Windows you are running and whether or not it is a 32bit/64bit version of Windows.
If this doesn't fix your issue, please contact us at support@thimbleweedpark.com.
Not sure if I follow - if you've successfully crashed the game, the option (in the text game) must have already appeared then? The option should appear if you go west, west, and then north in the text adventure game. It's the room with the robot paintings.
What is your current game state? Have you already been further into the factory (past the robot arms)?
Ah, understood. Did Delores use the red gel decoder on the hint book, or was it another character? Try it with Delores if you haven't yet...
If that doesn't work, I think we might need your save game in order to be able to troubleshoot this further. Can you please contact us at support@thimbleweedpark.com with brief info about your problem and what have you tried so far and we'll try our best to help you from there.
Yay! Good news.
It's great to see all the support for this game with all the patches and all that. Are you thinking about adding more features to the game in the future? That would be great for a replay.
I want to report a typo in the Spanish translation.
The description of the office in the factory says "ofizina" instead of "oficina". The same with the key related to the object. I wonder if that's a feature.
Also when I try to speak to the other main characters using the right mouse button as a shortcut to TALK it doesn't work and I have to select the verb before talking to them.
Thanks for the wonderful experience with Thimbleweed Park!
Hi Master_Criskywalker,
thanks for a nice comment! Yes, we're still actively working on the game and are also going to release some patches (mainly minor bug fixes). We've also received requests for uncensored version of the game where Ransome's speech wouldn't be beeped out; here the date of release is not set in stone yet, as we've been pretty busy with the iOS/Switch/Android ports of TWP.
As for the typo in the Spanish version, that's intentional, as there's a similar misspelling in the English version of the game ("offiss").
The "Talk to" issue (when talking to other playable characters) is known, we're most probably going to fix it in one of the upcoming patches.
Hello ъŁaςķ_ĵaςķ,
do you get some kind of error message or does the game simply not start?
