Point of no return near the end?
Just finished the game yesterday, and it was a lot of fun. However, I feel like I rushed the ending sequence a bit and would like to backtrack.

Specifically, I rushed straight to the wireframe world before letting the other characters use their deus ex machina items to wrap up their respective storylines. Since the game autosaves in the wireframe world, there is no way to backtrack out of it, is there?

I'm relatively new to Steam. Can users share save states amongst themselves?

There is no way.

I don't know about sharing the save states, I'm no Steam expert.

Yes, you should be able to share savegames amongst yourselves. You'd have to email or message the file outside of Steam, though.

I missed Edna on the first playthrough but only checked out the Mansion after so many people mentioned it. I knew I had to go the the factory and most other places on the map had no hotspots (I really think it´s only the vista, the mansion and the factory) so I missed out on the mansion the first time around because somehow it seems I didn´t run over it with the cursor on the right spot. Anyhooaboo, the latest savegame before that usually should be pretty close to entering the wireframe world so the possibility to backtrack is always there.

Here you go, I had a save game right near the end.. just before you have to call Franklin's ghost to turn the big fan back on.

I agree, they shouldn't have mentioned the hint in the kickstarter video until after each character had used all of their special items.. I didn't know I was ending the game.

My save is for casual mode.. and my game is on linux, but I highly doubt that matters.

Dropbox doesn't let me share anymore so I hope this host works.

For anyone else who wants to use this save state, here's how a Mac user can activate it after downloading:

Go to Macintosh HD, then users, then you, then make sure the library file is visible, then go to the library, then application support, then Terrible Toybox, then Thimbleweed Park. If you already have savestates, rename this downloaded file and PNG to whatever number you don't have / want to replace. ie, "Savegame6.save"

In the last update they have tried to minimize this issue. Now Delores says to the player that he/she should save the game if the other characters have not finished their tasks yet.

She'll say it no matter what (since you might want to go back and try some other things).

Oh, thanks David for the clarification. I didn't realize it.
