Multiplayer option in the future?

Hi devs

Is it posible to add a new multiplayer option with bigger maps to play with friends with their own islands?

I just came to check myself if it had it... then see this topic haha. This game would be sooooo cozy as MP.

i don't think it will though, this game worked by three devs. and they're working on another new single player game too. but multiplayer might be awesome though. but whether if they will, not sure it will happen.

Yeah, don't think the devs have the time to implement that. Way too much coding for so few. You'd have to turn to modders to do that for you. Dunno if there's modding support for this game, I've always played the game as is.

There is a multiplayer mod project on the Workshop. It doesn't work very well at the moment, but that is likely as close as the game will get for the reasons listed above.
