For starters any game that is a RTS like for example star craft and turn based games like civilization both play better with keyboard and mouse for star craft needs the hot keys (a lot of hot keys) to micro your units faster. Civ needs a cursor (consoles all ways moves slower then the PC and when they don't its harder to control then the PC.
I'm not going to put all I've learned here for it does not apply. Simply put any game that needs a cursor is hell to play on consoles.
As for the cursor bit, some things would be more annoying but building & controlling things wouldn't be too much of an issue with a static on-screen cursor. I've played plenty of RTS games on a console without M/KB and it was fine.
Whether you agree it wouldn't be trash or not, ya'll have to admit it'd be a great business idea for both companies. They'd both make money.
Well, the SWITCH does have an acceptable alternative to a mouse… it’s called a TouchScreen. Make the cursor compatible with the stick controller for docked-mode. But touchscreen in handheld-mode.
That’s faster cursor-ing!
