Cheat Mode/Codes?
Is there a sort of mass resource mode available in any capacity? I like the game but I have trouble with the multitudes of resource management and suffer a high level of starvation pretty quickly (I just get bad luck with fertile ground seed worlds). I'd like to play some kind of mode where I start with like, a thousand of everything or infinite so I can build my kingdoms to be more aesthetic like I do in Cities: Skylines.

Just curious.

If anything the game is too easy. Most complaints are about a lack of challenge.

If you want a cheat mode that bad just download cheat engine.

That's part of my problem. I can't really "Stack resources" because I'm always in need of things. Every building requires workers and I can't get workers without houses and I can't get houses without resources, so I build more stuff to get those resources and then I run out of staff to generate anything.
It's just kind of a snowball effect where I stop getting stuff if I don't expand. I want what Cities: Skylines has, a sort of infinite money mod where I can plot out my city in advance and then just let the growing population fill it in.

Invasions are based on years and luck.
Large populations tend to have resources to spare, including workers.

It took me a while to notice that you can irrigate all barren tiles with a few norias and aqueducts. I'd recommend giving those a try if you have some big barren spots. I also figred half-way through my game that I should utilize all ground for food/wood, and then build piers for any structure that doesn't need ground to function.

Along with aqueducts and norias, I found that while orchards give a lot of food, 5 or so farms with an adjacent windmill provide just as much, and then that is further increased by a bunch of bakers. By the end, I had a big row of bakeries trying to make their output matchup with the farm wheat output. By that point, I was capping on food with a large amount of granaries

You really needed to revive a 3 month old threat to add your 2 cents? #Lifegoals

'just download cheat engine' easy to say but you don't cheat in Kingdoms and Castles that easily unless you have some knowledge about memory editing. This isn't a simple 'find exact value & edit it'.

Nobody actually gave you an answer because there are no cheats and whether to add it or not is a question for dev. You may try your luck at their Discord channel, they're there in realtime.

You aren't asking for an alternative and I wouldn't recommend it but MrAntiFun has working trainers for Kingdoms and Castles, don't know if they work for this update. In my experience using trainers to cheat in this game has strange consequences, like one villager carrying 238763945727434897562 food, visually carrying an INSANELY huge stack and strutting about to their home where the values get messed up. If you then load the game again without trainers you'll have supplies billions below zero. Looks to me like some memory edits are overlooked and thus not communicating properly.

Yea I long figured that, Elysion. I'm not a programmer or modder so I figured if there's not an ingame cheat mode, oh well.
Old thread, btw.

A god mode would be nice tho. I want to come home for 20m and build a giant kindgom to rule just for fun for those 20m.

I don't understand why do people answering here act as if they got a stick up their bums and being all smart asses how easy the game is. It is easy. But that's not the question OP asked.
