Slightly more adult version?

As an adult that loves VNs, I would pay good money to see an 18+ version of these stories or even some slightly smutty DLC. Anyone else feel this way?

As an adult who reads a lot of 18+ VNs, I prefer the story as it is. I feel like the "fairy-tale" atmosphere would really clash with smut and the like. Although this is a darker take on classic fairy-tales, I feel like the lack of profanities and sexual content was chosen for a reason.

But I would definitely like to see DLCs!

And I agree with what you're saying. I think it could have been written and stayed within the tone of the story (especially in Waltz's route), but I respect their choice. I just really love these characters!

I think the best fairy tales (and any kind of artwork, in general) are those, which anyone can read/see/enjoy. So this 'modding' is kind of a waste...

the tales are based of the brothers grimm versions if i remember, took me awile to get all the endings and finish the gallary maybe an option for 18+ could be a thing tho or making it an option AFTER you finish everything as a sort of reward (you would have to replay tho) could make it interesting

Bother with the thing yet again..? Well, maybe - to remember some details... As well as to nitpick a few plot holes!

I haven't finished my first playthrough yet, but so far (~12 hours) I'm not sure if 18+ content would fit well in the game. But then again, "Princess Maker" managed to combine both just fine.

I don't know many free VNs yet. Depending on your preferences you might want to give the "limited version" of Nekojishi a try. If you can find it.

Read Cupid right now if you haven't. It's rated M and was an excellent read, loved the format too and you'll find mother very reminiscent after Cinderella Phenomenom.

How about for a DLC we get a Mythros route or an Emelaigne friendshp route? I would pay SO MUCH for these two that its not even funny!! The reason that Mythros doesnt have a route is via lack of funding so this makes perfect sense.

There is a manga series called 'Erotic Fairy Tales' which is R-18. Not exactly what you were hoping for but eh.

Also a Mythos route would be interesting to do. And friendship routes.
