Two bugs
We played multiplay on a private server, created in the start menu of the game. The game is absolutely adoreable and so much fun, but we had 2 bugs that were both very annoying.

One was caused by the portals. We could not go by portal except to the very first time that we dropped the second one. On first use it still worked. After that the game always crashed when we did click the name of the portal and did hit enter to teleport.

The second bug was even more annoying, it could even stop us from playing the game. We could not walk very far from each others in multiplay because the game started to tell us then that we would have moved too far from the other player and did not let us walk on. The problem is that if you play together you might not want to stay always close together because it gets impossible to farm materials while the other one stays at home for crafting. After a while you will for example have chopped down the trees that were nearby and need to move away to get more trees. We experienced the same bug in Conan Exile. It forced us to create our own dedicated server instead of using the game menu one, because we did not want to play that restricted. Please fix that as soon as possible to not make people abondon your game. Would be sad if they did and they definetely will.

Oh and it is also very bad that you can not tab out of the game without getting the screen stuck in loading. Happened also to us. As soon as you minimize the game or click on a second computerscreen the game does stop working.

Oh and if you grant me a wish I'd love to have a female character please.

I do not find your second objection to be a problem. It is called co-op because you cooperate with each other. When my friend & I play, one of us mines, the other cuts logs & branches, we kill together & it would not be possible to come to each other's aid if one got attacked & was low on health if the other one was at camp. After we collect our mats, we go together to camp & craft together.

I do not understand why you would want to minimize the screen, tab out or click on a second screen, & we have not had the teleport bug u mentioned, so cannot comment on those

It is understandable that some people might like to stay close together, but not everyone feels like you dogtooth2 and you can not expect that. There are lots of people out there that hate this kind of programming in coop and thatfor most games don't have it, that's a fact!
And btw I won't discuss professional use of 2 or more screens at a computer, it should be common enough nowadays to skip out of a screen if you can afford more than one screen and got a RL too.

I would say it depends on what is most practical. At this kind of games people usually split tasks. Other might go out to hunt while other does work at base and set up a farm. So I would agree with Luna. However this is likely not subject to change...

I love the game and thatfor I hope it will be subject of a change because as an adult I do not like to stick to a friend 100% of my time at playing.

But seriously you shouldn't have to stay close together, Luna plays is right about that.

I am standing bored around most of the time while my friend is crafting because most of the time I want to go out instead to collect anything. And I do love crafting in this game, I just don't want to do it 70% or 80% of my time. My friend does that. So I am forced to just stay and wait, and wait and wait..., of course I also help him sometimes at crafting but most of the time I wait.
Btw there are more bugs I found: For example my coop guest can't hear most sounds ingame and we die always both if one of us dies. That is also in no other game the case and should get removed! It is simply not fair!
The skipping out of the window happens to me when I play windowed mode and accidently hit the windows key on my keyboard, which is next to the ctrl key, which you use to collect all around yourself. Then the game window minimizes and gets stuck in loading screen.
Also I recognized that there is no key on the keyboard to quicksave in such situations :(

I experienced the loading issues on MP as well; however, there is an option in the menu that either says pause game when it background or something like this...

I also went to window mode as well so it may be a combination of window mode + do not pause if game is in the background.

I hope this helps.

Oh, and the COOP thing, I thought it was bad before he was nice enough to expand it around based. Actually, it seemed to have expanded outside of the base as well.. it is a coop game so I agree with others that this game is meant to stick close together. The developer has already stated that removing the distance thing is out of the question as rendering (?) happens on the HOST.

Maybe if the host PC was powerful enough to render the whole board and this could be allowed? I am not sure if this would require a 64bit compiled app (should be possible given it is a .NET app), but it may lead to folks complaining about performance and crashing.

Fun part is that we had the same issue at Conan Exile and as soon as we did run our own dedicated server the problem was gone, so it is possible to not have that annoying bound to each others problem. And most people will on a long term not be willing to play like that, it just ruins the gameplay after a while.

A note about the portals, we found that in co-op, the person who makes the portal seems to be the person who needs to us the portal or the game will crash. We just decided that I will make and use all the portals and haven't had an issue since. Hope that helps! Would be nice if later on, anyone could use the portals but for now, it's an easy enough work around.

My games crashing using the portals ,and I play single player, I am at the moment saving and quitting when I'm out in the world because it's only when I want to return to base it crashes, when i reload I'm at my base.
