Trees and bushes don't ever regrow or regenerate over time; you only can get so many sticks, leaves and food from each tree or bush. I noticed that if you kick a bush several times before you break it, it gives fewer resources.
Don't worry too much about cutting too many trees or bushes, just be careful not to open too many breaches on the natural barrier that the starting zone has, ideally you want to have only one way out.
In almost any other biome the vegetation is very dense, with almost no natural paths or open spaces. So you’ll have to chop a lot of trees and bushes, even if you not going there specifically for that. That will keep your stockpile while you obtain the circular seedbed that would make logs, sticks, palm leaves, apples and sunflower seeds renewable. At the moment you cannot grow coconut or banana trees.
Palmleaves, wood, sticks, apples and sunflowers.
Biomes that have plenty of these.
Coconuts and bananas. Jungle / beaches.
Nothing regrows in the wild.
great feedback, thanks! ok, so I just have to get to a higher level and I can regrow stuffs, that's good to know! for now, I did notice that there's a goodly ammount of plams to get just by exploring further. but knowing I can farm most everything later on, is good to know.
