After a little digging around...

AppData\LocalLow\ninthart\Not Dying Today

This seems to just contain Unity analytics, so is of no use to us.

Steam\steamapps\common\notdyingtoday\gamedata

I suspect this is the file we need to delete / backup respectively!
It's the one listed for Steam cloud sync in the game's "remotecache.vdf" file under Steam's "userdata".

Haven't tested it myself yet, but hopefully that helps someone out. It's much nicer when a game provides a simple "erase game" option (with confirmation of course!), and preferably multiple save slots.
...EDIT...
OK, just tested it, and it works. Obviously, disable Cloud Sync for the game in Steam before deleting the "gamedata" file, else it'll come straight back when you launch the game.

...EDIT....
And just for completeness... the game options (resolution/fullscreen, at least) seem to be in the Windows Registry...
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ninthart\Not Dying Today

Bump, also need this. Tried disabling steam cloud saves, finding the saves and deleting them manually, but didn't work, the game must have more than one save folder, lol.
Same here but i didn't found the saved games in the game folder i only deleted an archive named data and the game was the same nothing happened and also by quitting the game and checking the folder again the data archive was created automatically by the game my guess is that there's another folder hidden somewhere i tried the %appdata% since it's the most common but there's nothing there

Sadly, it's not gone... :be_bad: I'm also stuck at Level 40 after deleting 'Gamedata' and giving it a second try. Anyone else an Idea? :be_medium:
