Came for the cards, stayed for the 100% achievements.

I beat this game originally June, 2018. Steamed bugged out or I played offline, who knows. I got no hours played or any of the cards but got the achievements. Got every one except 4, beating each campaign on the hardest difficulty. I, was, unfortunately a scrub and a noob.

Flash forward to more than a year later and i'm hunting some cards and I see this game, I think to myself i'll leave it idle and collect them the easy way, but 7 cards, geez.

Instead, I tried the hardest difficulty to see what it was like. Got my ass handed to me. Literally. Loss after loss. Hell, even lost the very first tutorial level.... thanks for mocking me about that btw. But I figured out my tricks eventually, how to rush opponents and deny them key resources to buy time for your own economy to severely out-level theirs. Using your cities as walls to protect resources and your armies. It all adds up. And now here we are. Another perfect game.

And is if to reward me 2 of my cards drops were foil too. Those are pretty damn rare.

And hey, the bug worked out in my favour. To win all 4 campaigns on hardest difficulty it took me 5 and a half hours.

But man, ♥♥♥♥ you guys for that final level. That alone took like an hour.... it's so damn hard, haha. For real though, I love this genre of game, don't get many of them and this is among the best as a masterpiece.
