Yup, the second screenshot of this game shows that it's using a screenshot from Mirror's Edge as a background, lol, I guess the artist got bored of working and decided to steal stuff instead. Google for "Callaghan Mirror's Edge" (without quotes) or similar and you'll find many images with the same billboards and identical logo and what not.

Well, could have gotten permission, and most companies usually dont care if a small indie artist makes mention of them in there work if you're not making money. Also this: Copyright does not apply to works in the public domain; words, names, slogans or short phrases. Though I've honestly got no idea if an image for a fictional company would fall in any of that

It's a screenshot from the game, not a logo. In this case only parody law whould protect them, if it was transformative.

Ah ok, I hadnt seen it, but I had noticed some stores Logo's and some other companies name. Anyway, its also could use some better grammer and transitions,and poor descriptions sometimes, so yeah the person was cutting corners. I guess can't excpect to much from a game. Edit: Got the "truth ending (which wasn't much of a "truth" imo due to...reasons) and I saw what you mean about the screen shot, and yeah, wow that is crazy lazy.

This game is still around, so no... If that was the only part that was "borrowed", I suspect EA wouldn't care too much (if they actually know about this game)
