(spoilers) Is there a point to doing this?

Alright, so, i just started the game, but sadly i've been spoiled by accident that Kaede is going to die somehow. (i was just checking what presents to give in free time... sigh).

Anyway, since that's been spoiled already, and i know she only has 2 free times with each student, i looked around and found out that the only way to see all of her free times would be to replay chapter 1, since in the dating mode in the endgame you can't play as her.

So, just as all the other danganronpas, if i load a save, it wont count the new "fragments of hope" i have, i have to start the chapter over for them to actually register. So, loading the chapter 1 at the start of free time over and over, will let me see all the free times, but not register it... so my question is, do you *get* anything by seeing all of Kaede's free time events? like, they count towards some achievement or 100% completion or something?, because if not, it would be easier to just load the save instead of restarting the episode and rushing until free time over and over. What you guys think?

Sorry to hear you were spoiled. This game is a minefield for spoilers, and since you can’t permanently miss anything, I recommend avoiding outside info whenever possible.

Kaede’s Free Time Events do matter. They go into the “Intimacy Events” in the gallery to purchase, and unlocking everything in the gallery is an achievement. Make sure you save after doing them for that reason.

A couple of tips. One is that it is faster to replay the first FTE day and then restart the chapter, otherwise you have to go through some story events to get to the second one. The other is that you can only do Angie’s second report card on the second one, after a room for Kaede is unlocked. So you will have to suffer through story skipping at least once unless you already did hers.

Thanks, this is gonna take some time =/ so its faster to do the whole first part of chapter 1 than to do the one in between free time 2 and 3? That sounds odd considering the first part of the chapter includes the plataforming section and all that wich takes a whole bunch of time... or does this game let me star a chapter in free time unlike the others? i haven't checked that yet.

EDIT: Oh! i found it, they finally added that option, thank god! thanks for the tips, i guess i'll leave Angie for last then.

Yep, I meant starting at Free Time would make it faster, which V3 thankfully included! It'll still take some time, but that option is the difference between it being bearable and ridiculous.

No need to tell me... i maxed a lot of Free Times in the previous games before ending the game because i wanted to know the characters better before they died and all, it was super boring!
