what do i do with the prizes (chapter 2)

i'm really bad at games, so i usually try to try everything myself before making a post so i won't ask any obvious questions, but what do i do with the prizes? as the title says, i'm on chapter 2. i've tried every room in this god forsaken game and it either gives me the "no mysterious items" dialogue or dialogue of shuichi grieving kaede . sorry if this is obvious but i don't know what i'm supposed to do

Which prizes? The passport goes in the indentation in the hallway leading up to the gym, the orb goes to the dragon on the second floor, the crank goes in the gate outside, and the ocarina opens the ivy door outside. There are people around all four locations to make them easy to find. Is that what you are asking about?
