Lying on keyboard

I`ve tried many combos and buttons on my keyboard yet I still can`t find out how to lie, I got the game late and I`m one the first case (Spoiler) Rantaro`s death and I need to lie about Kaede having the transmittor (I think it was) not shuichi... Can someone help ;w;

i do know your supposed to press the button for some time, atleast thats how it is on my controller

Make sure your control settings are Keyboard and Mouse, not a controller.

Try plug in a new mouse

Use a controller

Try verifying the game contents

Try reinstalling

Actually, you have to hold the right and left mouse button at the same time to “load the lie”. Then when the screen changes you just have to shoot the argument like you normally would.

It's been a while since this thread was posted, but I thought I'd give my input since I came here with the same problem you did and none of the answers worked for me. I don't have a mouse, but the keyboard shortcut (on my computer at least) is to hold down the "enter" key, which loads the lie, keep it held down while I aim with the clickpad, and then letting go of the enter key to shoot it.
Like another user said though, v3 PC's controls are all over the place, so I hope you found what worked for you :">
