:O Why Angie so far up and Gokuhara so far down?

I quite like Angie because of her role in the story and the deeper parts of her character you can only really make assumptions about. It's very much like my reason for liking Celestia; Angie is a character you should research, one that doesn't immediately make complete sense.

Gokuhara is last because for one, I dislike his character trope. Naiveté and kindness only takes characters so far; I like to see characters with more apparent struggles and morality in the gray area. Apart from that, he was absolutely destroyed by the writing, and not just because of the Tarzan speak in the localization. It looks to me that they gave him very little attention, and the localization speech makes it even worse.

Angie, Kaito, and Miu I hate and they don't deserve to be on my list, sorry if I offend any fans of these three, I just don't like them. ESPECIALLY Miu.

[Sunder]

1) Kokichi.
Most interesting character in the entire series. He was planning to escape from the game the moment Kirumi tried to run from the execution, he was just too smart. I am 100% certain that's when he started getting Miu to make inventions like the Electrohammer and Electrobombs. Maybe even sooner. The only character of the series that decided to not play the game at all but try to find a different way to escape. Incredibly witty, he sees through every lie Shuichi tells during trials.
2) Himiko.
Probably one of the characters with the most development. She turns from completely apathetic to absolutely precious and adorable..
3) Kaito.
The true protagonist of the game.
4) Maki.
From kuudere to tsundere to yandere to normal. She's a lot of things in this game. She was intelligent though and a really helpful partner for Shuichi during investigations. Goes through a lot of development too.
5) Shuichi.
It's kind of a weak rating if you consider him the protagonist of the game, but he has some development and he doesn't have the garbage personality of some of the other students. Shuichi is a good boy.
6) K1-B0.
The Makoto of the game.
6) Rantaro.
Wish I could have learned more about him. Too bad he died first. At least there's the intimacy events during the salmon mode.
7) Kaede.
I feel I would have liked her more if she had retained some of her angsty first-appearance attitude than her over-optimistic shonen protagonist attitude after the first Flashback Light.
8) Gonta.
A big teddy bear. Just way too gullible for his own good. The game is also VERY inconsistent about his intelligence level. He figures out how the ropes connect in Kirumi's case but can't tell right from left? I know it's a game and suspension of disbelief, but that was lazy storytelling.
9) Ryoda.
He's maybe one of the more mature students in the cast. He probably would have been higher up on the rankings if I had done some of his bonding events during the main game.
10) Tenko.
Her gimmick gets old REAL quick. The cheap tactic of making someone sympathetic right before their death doesn't completely erase the aggressive, predatory lesbian/feminist/man-hating traits that she was given. She might be considered the Kazuichi of the game, but Kazuichi was a tame puppy in comparison to her and he wasn't near as annoying. She just barely ranks above the serial killer.
11) Korekiyo.
Well, he's interesting but his backstory ruins his character.
12) Kirumi.
Another one who has fans because she's a maid I guess? She's pretty boring. Goes nuts in the end, and goes out with the least amount of grace of any character in the series. At least she gave Kokichi the idea to fight the game in a different way than playing it, so she served a purpose at least.
13) Tsumugi.
She just plainly stays the same the entire time you know her. No development, and nothing really interesting. There's almost nothing worse than being boring.
14) Angie.
Don't like her. I know she has fans...
15) Miu.
The absolute worst, trashiest character in the entire series. Seriously, she knows everything Kokichi is doing, is probably smart enough to figure out the why of it, and *still* chooses murder over a likely successful escape attempt. They could have controlled the Exisals for crying out loud. An absolute self-centered coward and I just don't understand why people actually like/love this character at all. Just not merited.

Some really good characters in this series and only one I disliked, which was Korekiyo, ranks 10-15 are degrees of 'meh'.

I didn't like the rest
Ryoma, Tsumugi, and Himiko all ways put themselves in a Depressing position, Rantaro was stupid for not making up a talent on the spot, i just don't like Gonta, Angie just annoying, Kiyo is just creepy, And I didn't like the plot for Kirumi

Even though danganronpa will be out for awhile but I now want to update my ranks

Shuichi, Kaito, & Maki are friendship goals.
Kokichi is a better Nagito & a better Togami. Sure, he acts like a villain but he does it with good intentions. One can argue that Nagito did the same - but he didn't have the same feel that Kokichi did. You can tell that Kokichi's actions aren't malicious in a way that you can't with Nagito.
Kaede was a decent character but I hated her as a protagonist. I could tell that there was no development arc planned for her because she was already a strong personality. I would've liked her more if she took advantage of the first blood perk because she had to know that they would end up suspecting Shuichi.
Rantaro is mostly because of voice and character design. I don't mind them getting rid of Kaede early as much as I mind them getting rid of Rantaro early. I feel like the game would've been more interesting if he was there for the trials.
Gonta is a precious bean that is impossible for me to not like.
Everyone else flip-flops depending on whatever fanfiction I'm reading at the moment.
