When I was playing the demo and looking through the characters' profiles I calculated all their BMIs since I noticed the girls' weights all seemed skewed low, and I was also curious about something more specific regarding the trends. Most of the females would be considered underweight and most of the males would be considered a normal weight, but there are a couple of outliers in each. Kaede's is 17.8 (underweight is below 18.5). Even disregarding her breasts, she should be much heavier due to her height, since she doesn't look underweight. I'm assuming it's because a low number generally looks more attractive, especially in Japan. Which is why the males got more accurate weights, since that standard doesn't apply to them. I can post all the data if anyone's interested. Numbers are fun.

Yeah, I was pretty disappointed that the game insisted on these unrealistic body standards. I match Tenko's measurements in literally everything... except that I weigh 30 more pounds than her. That's completely illogical! And that's not even going into how she's an athlete and muscle weighs more than fat. I just wish that it was more realistic. Also, fun fact: Saihara and Amami both have 2 inches bigger chest than Maki. LOL

It's rare the japanese game I've played that has any realistic weight-height ratio. I've kind of just accepted it at this point and don't expect much anymore.

Incorrectly translated units probably account for some inaccuracy. Is her weight in kg around the same or is it also different? I'd look it up but wiki pages are full of spoilers and I don't want to glance at the wrong thing.

What post above said. It isn't that she looks unrealistic, because she dosen't. It's that the number makes no sense. To be that wieght and that height, she'd have to be basically skin and bones. Stop trying to turn it into a political issue. No one was talking about it that way. If she was shorter the weight would make more sense.

Kaede's in-game English height is indeed 5'8' and she weighs 117 pounds, like the original post said. I'm already spoiled, so I checked the wiki and her Japanese height is 167 cm or around 5'4' and weighs 53 kg or 117 pounds.
