I refuse to give in until I beat this miserable SOB. Anyone have any tips? I'm not a platform master and have the action difficulty on easy. Those warping platforms are ruining my day.

I'm almost at 2 hours of the damn thing and can only get to the bit before the 5 cages fall down on you. Watch a video and it'll help a lot and the difficulty setting has nothing to do with how frustrating this bit is.

I'm afraid I'll go 5 hours until I beat it.

The controls/physics are ridiculous on purpose. You're not really supposed to succeed. If you feel like you need to beat it before continuing, I guess no one's gonna stop you; it's just gonna take a lot of effort, and even knowing the layouts and timing won't necessarily bring success.

I have to work at 11am this morning. I've been trying to clear this mini-game since 12 am last night right before I was gonna save/quit for the night. It is 9:06am right now.

I've been trying to clear it for about two hours and pretty much just rage quit... but I'm keeping my save file. I WILL HAVE THAT MONOPAD THEME AND BONUS ENDING (even if it is non-canon, lol). I've gotten to the part right before it says "CLEAR" in the fake coins, but the platform rockets away each time i jump towards it. The game is definitely unfair on purpose, but watching the video above does help a bit with strategy. I predict that it'll take a lot of time and Ultimate Luck... (if I beat it I'll edit this and let y'all know)

So far I've managed to make it about halfway through, I always die at that part where you have to jump over the floating bombs and it's dropping "coins" on you, the one that comes right after the part where you're jumping on platforms, and it's dropping "coins" on you. Probably the most frustrating part is the way the game's AI will literally just throw at least half of your cast away, without any mistakes needing to be made on your part. I might be able to tolerate the slippery controls, but having to die based on bugs, like those ones where a character spawns above a pit, or because the AI is brain dead, like when they literally jump into the pit, is complete bull crap, if you're going to make it cheap, in the very least make it something the player can work around.

There are certain patterns to follow through, for example getting through the first 3 monocoin bombs you need to sacrifice Kaede by turning her back for the flying bomb (That's how you get through it with the least dead characters..) and after that just run through while jumping right on the edges till you get to the second gate. The part I'm now stuck at is the climb through the 4 flying bombs. It's despairingly difficult, but I can't leave it be

Yeah, but I always seem to slide over, hit one of the bombs or miss that tiny space between those coins.

I'm mostly stuck on the one after that, assuming I can even get to that part. In both of the videos I've seen the player does this sort of moonwalk thing that I don't know if I'd be able to pull off.

I finally beat Death Road to Can.... Despair It's really easy cheap but easy beat it on my 3rd try (total)
