I refuse to give in until I beat this miserable SOB. Anyone have any tips? I'm not a platform master and have the action difficulty on easy. Those warping platforms are ruining my day.

I did beat and got a achs for it it beatable First 2 were admitly hard need to avoid the coin know when to jump and not jump the decieving blue moving platform and the hidden pits and the fake clear in coins but once I got it memerise the 3rd try was easy would I lie to you

Dang, I just found out you have the, "The Truth Is Out There" achievement, now the only thing I can deny is you doing it on your third try.

Nope did it on my 3rd try (in total) No cheat or hack all legit and with the tools the game gave me and the ability to platform.

You could take my word for it but I only play Death road to despair when I was force to the backyard.

i gave up and used some 'engine' to go over it. wasting my time reloading and trying for 2 hours, i googled and found a way to 'win', with the 'engine'. one could say i was, 'cheating'.

its worth it, now i can finally move on the story. :)

Also got it, no achievement. No longer sure there is an achievement for it. But there is a neat skin for your menu, to remind you of how you died repeatedly.

You don't have to try , You're forced to complete it in chapter 5 anyhow , but it's much easier

Every video has it.. Did you figure it out? I guess it stops characters from sliding or something like that, it looks usefull.

It's really stupid how the AI keeps getting all your classmates killed, you're effectively being penalized because the AI is poorly designed. Nothing's more frustrating than having up to five more chances, only for the game to throw them all away and leave you with one.

For anyone looking for a cheat: use Cheatengine!

To clear the Death Road of Despair Minigame:
First, get to the first gate with Kaede, once you touch the gate,
PAUSE THE GAME
Scan for "1162743808" and there should only be one value. Double click that and start a new scan for "1159196672". You'll get about 20 results. Unpause the game and go as far left from the gate as you can on the stairs, standing still.
PAUSE THE GAME
Scan for "1158541312". This is your Y axis. Double click that address as well. You should now have two address in your address list below.
Double click the first one's value field and punch in "1188371214". Now double click the second one and punch in "1151590400". Unpause the game.
Enjoy your clear!

You can pause the game by pressing F3.
