Does Monokuma stop sounding like mickey mouse at some point?

I saw that people were talking about it in the sub-reddit but I didn't think they actually hired the voice actor. Does he stop sounding like mickey in the custom voicelines at some point?

I do think Monokuma sounded different from the last two games.... I assumed they hired another voice actor because why... is his voice so squeeky?

The thing is, his common voice lines sounds (relatively) fine

It's the same VA. He's just making a different pitch

It's not, at least not in the japanese dub. The original VA developed dementia and had to stop dubbing and another VA took the job.

I don't think Monokuma's voice sounds squeaky at all, and if it does sound squeaky when you start playing the game, you'll eventually get used to it. Monokuma is going to talk so much throughout the game; you'll get so used to his voice that the squeakiness will most likely disappear...

He did sound different in the demo. Get the feeling they recorded that after the lines for the game were finished and he completely ruined his own voice XD

Yea his new pitch is a little rough to get used to. But i mean he is still the same Monokuma at least xD.

I finished Chapter 2 yesterday and there was a point where he talked normally without being high pitched, like the last two games! I don't like it high pitched it all, it's better when his voice sounds normal.

I finished Chapter 1, and at the beginning of the prologue, he definitely sounds like Mickey Mouse, but that stops around the start of Chapter 1. So he does stop sounding like Mickey Mouse, you just have to get through the prologue.
