Give me your reasons for disliking Kaede
Because I'm sure that even someone meant to be as likable as Kaede has her detractors.
You're free to state your opinions in any manner you want, all I ask of you is to keep things civil. Thank you!

Only reason I can think of for anyone disliking her is because she's such obvious waifu bait.

This is a spoiler for the game.
The main reason I can think of as to why you wouldn't like Kaede is because of how her blind optimism lead her to her death. If she was more logical in her thought process and tried to handle the situation with Shuuichi, instead of burdening the motivation to kill the mastermind herself, she wouldn't have died...

She can be very basic and easy to understand. She can also be very rude to people and even invade their space when they are trying to ignore them. She is a bit too bossy and pushy to me.Even when she tries to act like a leader trying to motivate people and everything. She is the first person beside Kyo to think of a plan to murder someone. While you can say she had good intention can you really say they're still good when she had the intent to kill all along. [spoiler/]

It depends on what your take on the matter is, but I think she is a good person, because like Shuuichi states in her Argument Armament, the only reason she decided to kill is because Tsumugi planned for it to happen. She's not a cold-blooded heartless killer...

Well, since Kaede is one of my less favorite characters from whole 3 games, I think I can step forward here.
Idk about all those "waifu" things, but to me, she's obviously fake. The way she speak, the way she act... I don't think she's honest with her friends. Moreover, it doesn't seem to me that she's honest with herself. I don't know where this feeling came from, but I couldn't get rid of it. I don't believe her at all.
No offence please, it's just how I feel about her. I know many people like her, but as for me, at first I didn't want to play V3 because of her. Only after my friend told me that she's not a real protagonist, I bought the game.

She's a literal red herring and waifu bait, the Sayaka 2.0. I don't dislike her, but I see the reasons people would find her unpleasant if they bother to look behind her artificially constructed persona and cute looks. She's impulsive and also quite dishonest and shrewd while keeping up appearances of this big boobie innocent girl who cheers you on yet probably doesn't hesitate to stab you in the back once you're distracted enough.

I guess I shall step in then because of your opinion of Kaede.
( I am too lazy to spoiler mark this crap, but there's spoilers from here on because Kaede is the protagonist, and it makes sense for there to be spoilers when talking about the protagonist of a game. )

I too agree with her. When you say, " fake " I am assuming you mean how welcoming of a person she is, but she only tells what she thinks to her close friends, and even then she's an enclosed box. No one knew she would murder and would take the task to her own hands without consulting Shuuichi. By " fake " I would mainly say she hides her emotions behind a wall and keeps her other ones that she wants people to see on the other side. A good example of this would be how Kaede planned to kill the mastermind the moment Shuuichi revealed the door, yet she acted so normal on the outside that even through her perspective, all of us playing the game through her, we still couldn't tell she was going to kill. However, she leaves various clues for you to see her true intentions. For example, when Shuuichi left the classroom she started anxiously sweeping for no reason, and it felt kind of out-of-context to the player, until Shuuichi got back. Obviously if you thought about why she would've done that, I would think a conclusion would be reached that is similar to the fact that Kaede had a feeling the person who would open the library door wouldn't be the mastermind, and she would be distrusted, hated, and punished for it.

Kaede is one of the characters I strongly like in the game, probably a top 5-10, for a reason that takes your opinion a step further, which is why I decided to comment on this. You say she is a very " fake " person, and I agree with you, however, Kaede knows her motives and only wishes good with them. Generally on the inside she's a kindhearted character who would never betray her friends and the only reason she decided to kill was because she wanted to save them. The mastermind took advantage of her will and determination and used it to make her kill. Here it sounds like I'm blaming it all on the mastermind, but it is Kaede's fault too, which is probably why I like her a lot. It's a very unique flaw to try and save your friends and have it backfired on you...

I don't think I got my point across very well, but what I was trying to say is that Kaede has no malicious intent inside of her and Shuuichi was trying to prove that to her in her Argument Armament, she just got manipulated to her death.

Strange. I understand the "fake" part. She pretended to be cheery, courageous, friendly, etc. just to cheer people up, while on the inside she didn't feel cheery at all. She was pretty panicky, had some doubts about her plans, and didn't feel good about the situation at all. So yeah, she wasn't honest with her friends, that's true (but she never lied, either).
But the part about not being honest with herself? I dont' understand what you mean witht that. She knew from the start what her goal was, why she wanted it and why she was doing everything she did. She had a clear goal, a clear wish and a clear way of getting there. It just didn't work out.

I believe the person thought that to be honest with yourself you have to act real on the outside, otherwise it blurs the inside image of you. And although you're right, she did have a goal with a strong will to go towards it with, I feel as though she wasn't quite honest with herself on why she wanted it, or why she chose that path. The entire point of the argument armament was for Shuuichi to convince Kaede she had killed Rantarou by good means. Kaede herself believed she was a cold-blooded killer. During the 1st chapter, Kaede knew she had to--or rather--believed she had to kill someone to save the group, but after the deed had been done and Kaede got exposed for her crime, she had so much self-guilt it changed her opinion on the situation.

Why do they annoy you? He said what's your opinion and it seemed like he wanted a, " why " for it, but I at least would like to hear it.

Because they're so persistent and pushy, everyone is tired from watching their friends die and they're up in their faces like "hEY DON'T GIVE UP LET'S DO THIS COME ON YEAH HELL YEAH"

they just exhaust me basically

So you hate people who are overly positive? Well, to each their own, xD.
