The launch price are 60 bucks
60*200,000 ? 12 Million raw? might be even higher for lifetime.
Consider it a success.
Some game like Ys even hit 100k (higher on the whole series) according to some mags.
If we combined consoles copies sold with multiple series including remakes it might be already reach 2 million (i think).
People though it wont sell because it doesnt sell like Bandai game.
Most of bandai games will have at least about 100-400 copies sold on steam even more.
Might be even higher on console
Thats why they think this one wont sell well because its a "Visual Novel" and wasnt published by A to AAA publisher.
(But more sequrel it more far away from Visual Novel we know lol.)
From an Indie Visual Novel that inspired by Pheonix Wrigth made by a small company I think they really come so far.
Spike-Chunsoft is not big game company like Capcom or Squre-Enix and absolutely notthing near American megacompany like EA.
And when they made Danganronpa they still only Spike not merging with Chunsoft yet.
Ps.I just googling Spike-Chunsoft works pretty surprise that fist 5 Dragon Quest games is developed by Chunsoft not Enix themself.
