Is there a stategy for the Monomono Slot?

I'm playing the playstation version and i've just reached chapter 2 (No spoilers unless it's: "wait until you unlock *this* casino machine"), and i really want to unlock "the love key" as i don't want to miss any events), but it's taken me a full hour to get 5000 coins; most of which were gained through fishing. Is there a way to get more money from the monomono slot and quickly?

Nope.

When you get further into the game, you get a few more minigames and harder versions of those minigames.

Playing through trials with the skill that increases reward is more reasonable to me...

Either after chapter 5 or chapter 6 you unlock hard mode. This lets you bet 9999 coins. If you get S rank you will recieve 99 990 coins so you only have to get S rank a few times after that to unlock everything. Save your time and wait with the love keys for after the story.

Other than that, i've read somewhere that the slot machine on the right is the best to gain coins.

Yeah the harder versions pay more. Since I played on pc, and this is a singleplayer game, I made a simple button macro that just constantly hit the same button. Then I just left for work.

Some of the skills you can buy there are really good. Tranquility in particular.

Everything else is optional in my opinion. Stuff like the love keys I'd personally recommend waiting until you complete the base game. There is a better moment to use them.

Okay i think i get it, I'm going to wait until i beat the game then replay it for the keys and other unlockables. Thanks for all your help =)

Yeah, just wait until you beat the game and unlock more modes. Although, I believe that the game with the largest payoff is Treasure Monolith, but it is the hardest game out of them all...
