Pretty disgusted with V3

I was a massive fan of Danganronpa 1 and 2. I really got invested with the characters, cared for them and I was very interested in the storyline and wondering about the central mystery.

Then that POS cheap anime came along and ♥♥♥♥ed it all up. I got to the penultimate episode and I just gave up right there, that amount of BS was too much for me to handle. It really made me angry that they cheapened out on something really good after 1 and 2.

The anime needed to be a game. But instead of the rushed ♥♥♥♥ we got, something with the same amount of care that the other games got with solid production values.

And now, after hoping there'd be some kind of retcon, they're just dropping everything I cared about in 1 and 2 and are starting all over again? Honestly for me this feels like a stab in the back. Why do I even WANT to get invested in a story that's getting a cop out ending?

xD...Yeah I wasn't really that TRIGGERED. Juzo, ( are you Gay or European? ) just told me to chill so I decided to mess around a bit, xD. Pretty evil and not nice for someone who's a mock mod, but things happen I guess. Although, I did misunderstand the fact that he was disappointed with the animes and not Danganronpa v3. I still disagree with him being, " disappointed" with the anime, which is a bad word to associate with this series in the first place, but to each their own on that matter...

Danganronpa 3 anime spoilers: I mean sure the way Junko gained her power and created the remnants of despair was super-lame, and Ryota Mitarai messed up the whole Danganronpa story with his nonsense ability, but I don't think DR3 was *that* bad.

Please no spoilers. I just played Danganronpa 1 and 2 (GAMES) never watched the animes. So is DR3 (THE GAME) not connected with 1 and 2? I thought 3 will be the end of the story? But some comments here say that DR3 is something new and has nothing to do with 1 and 2?
Im just talking about the game , please keep that in mind.
So my question is, does DR3 the game has something to do with 1 and 2? Will the story entirely end here? I played the demo and there were even chars from 1 and 2, so i thought this will indeed have something to do with 1 and 2.

BUT the main plot of Danganronpa 1 and 2 doesnt have anything to do with this? And the main plot will come to an end in the new Anime?

No, but this thread is talking about being disgusted about the anime, DR3, not the game, DRV3...That was the original problem I had. You can check my first reply post, he corrected me and said he meant the anime, although he still hasn't changed the title from " Pretty Disgusted with V3" to " Pretty Disgusted with DR3"...But yes, you are correct. Danganroppa v3 is the game and has no connection to the series the arc which DR3 ties up, ;).

Read my reply...Also, this is the same game series. Kodaka has to keep the trial and investigation things or we would get TRIGGERED. Monokuma being there just means there will be some Mastermind behind him...Yes, this is a new arc and not connected to DR3, technically...

Thank you. Im pretty disappointed now since i was so hyped to finally see what this is all about and thought it is a trilogy. Tbh i always thought the anime would be (basically) the same story as the games and since i dont really like to watch animes.. well im not entirely sure now if im buying this for more than 30€. but thank you guys!

I'd recommend getting it anyway. From what I've seen and heard, this is one of the best games in the series.

I don't get it...What are you disappointed with? Danganronpa v3 will most likely be $60, so prepare for that. And the anime ties up the Hope Arc, so you should watch that too. It's definitely not a re-imagining of the games. It's something new and you can only find in the DR3 Anime...
You should also consider watching Nagito: World Destroyer 2.5 on things like KissAnime. It basically explains how they escaped the Neo World Program . ( <--- That is a spoiler about SDR2, not the anime... )
