So it was Danganronpa 1 then despair girls and then 2. Is this game after 2 or something else

This game is after DR3, an anime that came out last year.

V3 is independent from previous games & animes(apart from Monokuma making his return). The Hope's Peak Saga concluded (at least for now) with the Danganronpa 3 anime Side:Hope

If it's timeline is important to the hope's peak saga, I'd play to find out because that'd kinda be a spoiler.

This game has nothing to do with the Hope's Peak timeline, its a completely seperate continuity.
