Audio Desync/Low FPS in All of the Cutscenes So Far
As with the demo, I'm highly disappointed with the in-game videos/cutscenes. They all seem to run at 27FPS, with about 2-3 seconds of audio lag.
I am getting 60fps everywhere else, so I have no explanation as to why it's doing this. If it is my PC, I would really love to know what exactly is causing it -- because again, I get 60fps everywhere else. (Yes, I've even been messing with the in-game options, turning them down to the lowest and even messing with my resolution.)
Other users have pointed out this problem in the demo, I mostly just wanted to make it clear it is in the final release of the game, and I would like to see this patched out in some way.
I also played the demo on my laptop, and it had the same issue, but my laptop has Direct X12 running Windows 10, whereas my PC is DX11 running Windows 8. My laptop ran the corridor/FPS segment at 15FPS, yet still ran the opening at that strange framerate. Sitting between 26, 27 and 28.
(In the demo, this was even worse, because it would drag on for a full minute with no audio on both devices. There's at least not that, but the desync/framerate issues are still there to a degree.)

I did pay £50 for this game, and I don't usually drop that much on games unless I really want it.
I really wanted this game, too, it's just that the cutscenes are currently not enjoyable.
I haven't got to the executions, so I'm unsure if those also run at a low framerate with the desync issue, but all of the pre-rendered videos so far (in the Prologue) have been at a low framerate with about 2-3 seconds of audio delay.
Would love to see this fixed, pre-ordered the game and disappointed this somehow got overlooked.

Yeah, I'm getting this too. >.>
Sad! I'm glad at least the rest of the game is playable, I don't think I could put up with it if it were any other part of the game. Might have to watch youtube videos of the cutscenes or something later on. Because I am enjoying everything else!
It's just a slight annoyance for however long that cutscene plays, and in a title with this price it really should be patched, ya know?

Yes, indeed. My computer is getting old, but the rest of the game only has a few FPS drops. I can tolerate that with this kinda game. But I thought my old PC might've had something to do with the laggy videos, but it seems to be common. <.<
Same here, except my PC isn't actually that old. Nice to know someone else has the issue, I know people had problems with the demo but I didn't see anyone posting after it, so I thought I'd post it to let people know it's still a thing, whether that's the devs or the consumers knowing it.

Mind telling us the specs of your laptop and PC? For your laptop I'd guess the game chooses your integrated graphics instead of the dedicated card if it has one, but that's just a guess since I don't know much about your situation yet
Audio also seems INCREDIBLY low compared to the other Danganronpa games. I even have all the audio setting maxed out and it's so soft. Also, a lot of the times, it seems like the game doesn't continue the dialogue when I press the button to do so, so I have to press it multiple times. It's really making the game frustrating to play in its current state.

Laptop I haven't used in a while, but it was a recent buy (as recent as last year) for about £320? I hope that helps, I actually can't boot it up right now unfortunately.
My PC is uh...
Well, The specs look crappy, because it's a budget build
it's mostly what you'd expect
but I assure you, if it was a problem with my PC, this issue would not just be within the in-game cutscenes. It's playing a video, so unless there's a problem playing that video specifically, I don't see why the framerate would tank.

Operating System
Windows 8.1 64-bit
CPU
AMD A10-7800
RAM
12.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 798MHz
Motherboard
LENOVO Bantry CRB
Graphics
VS248 (1280x720@59Hz)
1024MB ATI AMD Radeon R7 Graphics
2048MB ATI AMD Radeon R7 Graphics + R7 200 Dual Graphics
CrossFire Disabled

Grabbed that from Speccy. Runs games like Fallout 4 at about 20-40FPS. This is not a game that should be running this badly, especially when it's ONLY the in-game cutscenes. I mean the pre-rendered cutscenes, like the openings or anything similar. I don't know why my build would be relevant, but it was prebuilt. There are my specs. I hope you don't mean to be telling me it's just my computer, because I get a lot of that. Even though this really shouldn't be happening if the rest of the game runs fine save for one or two drops.

Yeah just making sure. I don't know enough on the technical side since the game just came out and...well I suck at solving problems that aren't related to Bethesda games, but if someone comes along that knows how to fix it specs are probably the first thing they'll ask. Wasn't asking to try to put your computer on the spot or anything, I didn't think it would be if both systems were experiencing the exact same issue.

Yes, it seems like Bethesda games all have a knack for wanting you to figure out the bugs for yourself.
Then, I'm sorry I was paranoid, and I appreciate that. I'm so used to people doing that kind of stuff that when I'm asked for my specs, I just don't want to share them at all. People genuinely just bash it or tell me to get a new PC entirely, even when it's a problem like this that other users are also experiencing.
I had this issue with the demo, so I compared my computer specs to the required ones, and mine definitely don't fit them at all...
So I think this is something to do with your computer not being that good, especially since other people have not complained about this in the reviews that I've read.

this is sad :(
im stuck at demo
they should fix this.
Running Intel HD here and having no issues. Runs at 60fps save for a few segments. Your PC is worse than a toaster at this point, it's practically a potato.

My PC more than fits the requirements, actually. Please actually look at the requirements and compare them to my specs before you say things like that.
If it didn't, then it wouldn't run at 60fps in every other area. It's, again, just the videos playing. They don't even run at 30 when I'm watching them in the extras menu, they run at the same choppy and delayed framerate as usual. But the rest of the game runs fine.
It seems like the cutscenes are locked at a more demanding graphical setting. Whereas with the rest of the game it's based on what your settings are, that's just a guess though.
There must have been an update to the game while I was sleeping, because now, it's variable.
The desync isn't constant, but it will drop to that awful framerate randomly (it actually looks like this isn't the cause, because 28fps constant is normal for all the cutscenes actually, and they still desync for some bizarre reason), and cause itself to desync. That desync will stay. Whereas other parts of those cutscenes run in 30fps,and the audio will be synced. I just tested this by using the Extras menu, and saw the fact that steam downloaded something while I was asleep. It's better, but certainly still there.
Shorter cutscenes aren't laggy, and fully synced now for me. however, longer cutscenes tend to decide (randomly, again) "oh yeah, that problem you had before? Still here with me~".

Have a gtx 1060, can run Overwatch low settings at 120 fps, Doom at almost 60 fps everytime, have the audio desync in V3, wtf?
