Crashing, texture issues, missing sprites, mouse delay, etc

Every time I boot up the game, without fail its going to crash within 5-10 minutes every time. I've even run it as administrator (it lasts longer, but still crashes)
Think they'll release a patch soon? i see others having the same issue.

I'm also having texture issues with things like the sprites/doors/backgrounds become pink and pixelated. Shuichi's sprite will turn completely pink checkered in the background sometimes.

A lot of times the characters sprite isnt even there for me, either. The dialogue box will be there but the character wont.

There are also times when I can click, and nothing happens. I have to click 3 or 4 times just to get to the next dialogue box because it wont respond.

All of these things are making it incredibly difficult to play the game at all.
I haven't been able to get through the first chapter and its super annoying because ive been excited for this game for so long now.

Hope this comforts others having the same issues and maybe some of you guys know any ways to fix them?
