Without spoiling anything, I can assure you that the rest of the murder cases in this game are quite clever and interesting. Kaede's case was special.
Also, the game elaborates a bit further on Kaede's case later on. Not enough to make it plausible, but it reinforces the explanation for some of the inconsistencies in her logic: Kaede was in a hurry and made mistakes, her plan was flawed.
Nothing excuses the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of our POV character hiding things from us, though. Not in a series where that was never an element and never became an element again.
Still, I found Danganronpa V3 to be very enjoyable. I think this may very well have the best cases of the whole series; the one double murder was freaking amazing. It's just a shame it comes after such a weak opening case.
