Like how SQ-EN leave unuse stage in Kingdom Heart.
Also, Kingdom Hearts isn't as plot-heavy as Danganronpa. There's literally no contest there, considering KH doesn't make much sense when you actually combine the games' plots how they expect you to.
To me, it's unfair to say "well other devs do it, so why not this dev?" when these developers have proven through 3 other games that they don't just leave in unused content right in front of your face.
