Holy... I did not even make that connection so far. Time to think again...
So.. maybe DR3 is the only thing that is actually fiction within fiction? I don't know...
Well the Team Danganronpa Staff is still out there. It wasn't just Tsumugi and she is the only one who died. So they might not be accepting that there won't be any more Danganronpa. Also it also is possible, that the next installment would be DRV2 featuring Rantaro's killing game, followed by DRV1. Basically the reversed chronological order, but revealing more and more about the organisation behind the Danganronpa show.
Wait, so Junko is watching a tv show of Danganronpa. Maybe she is watching Danganronpa while she is a normal participant in a Killing game, and this killing game is based on the fake Danganronpa killing game Junko is watching.
Well, in that case, its really not possible for Junko to beDON'T CARE MASTERMIND STILL JUNKO BECAUSE EVERYONE IS DEAD AND KILLING GAME IS AFTERLIFE!
It's actually the case that Mastermind Junko is basing her performance on Fictional Mastermind Junko on the Danganronpa tv show, and has Junko as a participant in the killing game. And it turns out Junko runs the afterlife, so she has tricked the other three Junkos.
Can three Junko's hope beat Afterlife Junko's Despair?
The least amount of effort required to make this fit in, would be to say that dead people watch the real world through a tv/movie screen. So Yes, there is an audience in V3, but they are dead people. And that would make the Flashback lights possibly true, because everybody can die, but still be an audience. Tsumugi is using technology to communicate with the dead, because we have evidence of ghosts in another Daganronpa game Despair Girls , and V3 suggesting that a ritual can bring people to life and Kiyo argues the dead can be talked to through seance.
Not only that, but Monokubs and Monokuma are reborn atleast once each, Monokuma comes back as a ghost, you can see ghost Monosuke and Monokuma in the three identical rooms near Kiyo's ultimate lab and Monokuma is shown standing at a funeral type event for his kubs like the ones that show the V3 class, but which turned out to be fake for the v3 class even according to the Flashback lights.
I'm not really serious on this.
.
.
.
.
Because I left some of the story out.
Because what really happened is that the dead people know that the V3 class will die as soon as they leave the dome, so when you see all the faces disappear, and the people leaving the movie screen in the credits, it's everyone going to the spot where dead people arrive as soon as they die. Nobody wants to wait around watching the end, because then they won't get a good spot at the newly dead arrival point.
That's when they force every body from the Danganronpa events to play games like the Ultimate Talent Development plan or Despair Dungeon: Monokuma's Test for the enjoyment of every other dead human.
Ultimate Despair! It was Junko, because she runs the afterlife. Junko isn't actually participating in the games even though it looks like she is. Junko has a second twin we didn't know about pretending to be Junko in the games.
Time to move on. #TeamDespair
I don't know, Junko often has a hand in things...
One day we will find out that Junko was the snake mastermind that caused humans to get thrown out of the Garden of Eden.
The Plot Twist is that Junko was God the mastermind as well, and she had planned it out that way. Huge despair there. She used Truth (the tree of knowledge) to introduce despair, and urged them towards that despair through hope of greater power and knowledge.
Bam. Junko move right there.
She needed that to happen so she could have killing games. Without that knowledge humans would not kill.
IT ALL MAKES SENSE!!!!
At the end you can see "hole" in the glass, you can clearly see Team Danganronpa logo so I guess they are sugesting us that WE are the audence that wanted Danganronpa to continue and since they won.. Does that mean no Danganronpa at all?!
Anyway just play Exile Election if you have basic knowledge of Japanese, it's as close to Danganronpa as it gets without violating any copyright laws.
