Steam deck lag

Hey there, I posted before so again sorry if this was asked but the steam deck was running at like 3-5fps and unplayable. After an update and reboot it now plays at 30 but it’s like everything is in slow motion, it’s playable but not the experience I was looking for. If I stream from my pc to the steam deck it runs at 60. Does anyone else play this on the steam deck? Does it run smooth? I really would like to play but hearing the sound run at like half speed is rough lol doubt that’s the way the devs want it experienced haha. Thanks in advance!!

I have been experiencing this same issue! I got a few hours into the game, and then it started running like molasses. Also observed the 60 FPS while streaming from PC (but can't get the audio to run through the steam deck speakers?). Sorry I can't help atm, but will update if I come up with anything.

I just tried running it with Proton 7.0-6, and it looks like it works alright!

Open settings for Heartbound (click on the cog on the right side of game page), then Properties -> Compatibility -> Check "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool" and choose Proton 7.0-6. Good luck, hope it works for you!

Heyo! We've been having a ton of new issues with Steamdeck since their recent update. I actually don't own one but I am getting one delivered in the next few days (mid shipping) Once that happens I can start working on these. Looks like you guys got this mostly resolved but we will be on it then!

I'm playing docked on my steam deck and the game is stuck on the Pirate Software splash screen. The game will not load beyond the initial splash screen. All other games are working fine. Please fix.

Heartbound is freezing for some reason while in docked mode and chugs like nuts in handheld mode. I have no idea why it is doing that. Any ideas how to fix the problem?
