Danish localization

Hello! I'm an amateur translator who loves languages, playing with them, conveying the words so that they're not just accessible to people who did not understand them in the language they were originally in, but so that I'm actually content with how it turned out. Your game seems very interesting and I would love to help you localize it into Danish (my native tongue.)

Whenever I play a game, I often can't help but think "How would this be translated into Danish?" And often, I feel sad because I know that there is not any room for localizations in Danish, not because most of us don't understand the games anyway, but because I 'know' that playing games in Danish could be an enjoyable experience if it was given the right care. That's also why Danish localizations don't usually work out, because there is not an adult audience for localizations in Denmark. That's why I'm of the opinion that a such translation should be made by someone who cares about the game and wants translate it purely for the joy of it; someone who cares to do it justice.

I've previously localized an indie game into Danish, and I'm on the localization team for another upcoming indie game. I'm a moderator on a website dedicated to translating song lyrics, and in the five years or so that I've been there, I've translated more than 1600 lyrics. I understand if you're concerned about the quality of the translation you'll be getting, but since I'm not bound to this project by money or time, I'll work on it until it's perfect because I truly care. If you still aren't interested in my offer, I entirely understand and respect your decision and will keep on enjoying Heartbound anyway.
