This happens with 95% of all Early Access games.
This system get's abused by crminial thieves and Steam let's it happen again and again.

I hope the dev's children get r#ped and murdered.

what money?

$44k is peanuts, i'm surprised they even reached early access on that much

I haven't backed the kickstarter but I was willing to support the development of the game by getting the EA version, unfortunately it seems the devs have abandonned the game, possibly because the EA hasn't got so well, so the devs have assumed there is no enough interest in the game

I was really interested in the game years ago, finding it hard to find any information about the gameplay

This is soooo no f#cking excuse. The kickstarter money is all they need. E.A. didn´t go well my #ss! The backers money is to develop the game. If this doesn´t happen at alle the devs are nothing but mere criminals that should be shot at sight!

I doubt its dead. Development has been *very* slow, but has continued.

Since there are only a handful of posts on the forums anyways, I am going to necro this one. Aerothon, you say in february it wasn't dead. Do you still feel the same way now?
Aerothorn Oct 13, 2018 @ 2:14pm
Nope - when I made that post they were still within the window of when they said the'd take it out of early access. Definitely appears to be dead, at least for the time being. Not sure what happened (I'm a backer, I will check).

So when was the last update? Steam really needs to start removing this ♥♥♥♥/

It seems they're busy with something called Killer Queen Arcade.
Nothing about this one, though.

it's a shame this never was fully cooked. When I supported it my son was 10 and was just learning about Lewis and Clark in school and he was so excited. Now he's about to graduate high school and, alas, would likely be more interested in a Lewis & Clark level for Call of Duty. :)

Still would love to see this wrapped up. It's a shame the demand wasn't there to support development. (NOT cool on the "shot" comment above, but hey, Internet's gonna Internet. Sigh.)

so this one is officially dead? or do u think it's worth a wishlist to see if the devs return to it?

I would be very surprised if the devs reappeared, sadly.

Agreed. Their lack of transparency has been most disappointing, but completely unsurprising.

Was a Kickstarter backer. Expect nothing, get nothing - anything more than that is something to consider

I guess that applies to a lot of developers (Early Access or otherwise)

There's a game called DEPRAVED which has a load of bugs, it came out of EA back in 2019 but there were no updates at all.
