That's a pretty decent length, I also like the several difficulty modes.
You can change them at any time before going to a dungeon (not at the start of the game, tho) and affect mana gains and other things, it's not only harder or easier enemies.
Nice! So, basically higher difficulties will give you better loot as a reward?
No and yes. it's doesn't directly affect drops but harder difficulties gives more current mana, and current mana in a dungeon affects drop %.
Yeah, I think I'm gonna pick this up despite the price being a little higher than expected. I was stuck between either getting this or the The Bards Tale IV, but TBTIV seems to have some issues and lacks save on demand. It instead it's save point based based on this thread: https://steamcommunity.com/app/566090/discussions/0/1741094390484476486/
Sounds good. Do you know if there is variety in the dungeion tiles? I read a review and the reviewer placed dungeon design as a con. In the video he showed that a lot of the dungeons look the same. Perhaps he just didn't get far enough?
Every dungeon is really different, but each has several floors (and there's one dungeons really long in the mid-game), and those don't change much.
EDIT: Also it's really easy to save here, as long as you save 30 reinforcement points to teleport out of the dungeon, save, and go back to were you where.
Thanks a lot for the info, that cleared up my main concern. I don't mind the floors being the same in each dungeon, I was just worried that all dungeons themselves are the same tiles.
So wait, you can change the difficulty anytime? I see the other ones available as unlockables but I wasn't planning to touch them as I didn't want to mess with my save file.
