Oculus Touch Controller Not working Seeker

[$50 Laptop]

I had played this game before using a Vive and had no issues using the powers as a Seeker. However, I just got a Oculus Quest with the link cable to play this game and for the life of me can't use any of the power ups. The control layout is impossible to understand without accidentally using the Lock Down power. I can't use any of the other two and it is irritating.

Any update on a detailed Tutorial to better show what buttons to press or a better way to attempt to use power ups?

Well i cant seem to do nothing but sit at start screen and grab platform and move it around? The little screen says setting up game the whole time and i cant get it to play or nothing, am i doing something wrong?

have you managed to find a solution to this ? having same issue with oculas rift, saying "waiting for game setup" and i cant interact with the menu at all

i think the person on the pc has to start the game and set it up .. just press space bar or click the start button on your computer to try it out

The game has a bug for me (Oculus Quest with Oculus Link OR Virtual Desktop and Touch controllers).
The VR player can not trigger its 3 special abilities.
I actually get visual feedback that the button on the controller is pressed (and the controller confirms with vibration) but nothing happens.

I have tried steam beta, and the controller work in any other game as well just fine.

This is a different problem alltogether. You need to set up the game outside of VR with a controller or mouse.

Additionally, I tried all that can be tried with the SteamVR key allocation without success. Possibly the game just needs to react to the correct button (buttononeclick, buttontwoclick - events).

This game sounds so awesome but since I only have an oculus headset, it seems it would be a total waste. Has the dev shown any interest in fixing this? Even an acknowledgment?

I tired this game with the HP Reverb G2 and I also can't use the Powers as Seeker....

Ugh, too bad. Would have liked to support this game but that makes my decision much easier - hard pass.

To any=one who is here looking for instructions on how to start a game, the person the PC needs to hit the [spacebar] key to make interacting with the lever possible for the person on VR. As to how to use powerups... leaving a message here to hopefully find out when someone else figures it out

Has anyone tried creating new bindings for the controllers?
It might work. I have done this to fix similar issues for other games. If someone comes up with bindings that work they can be published for others to use as well.
