Delaque were cut from the game pre-release (along with Cawdor and Van-Saar) so all the work for them has been done and paid for.
There won't be any more after that though, game is dead and the cost/profit is not there to develop any more (otherwise they would tell us).
Don't get too excited about Delaque though, all the gangs are copy/paste with different skins.
A complete rip-off.
So sad to hear. I like WH40K setting and the game is far not so bad imo and can be better.
Sadly even though Necromunda offers the most unique and varriety insight to 40k, it does not seem the teams making this care at all about this, and it is seen as a cash in rather then making a great 40k game.
I doubt there are any more gangs half because they now offer the Gold version that includes all gangs. They would not said in the discriptoin ALL gangs, or that would mean that anyone that owns it can get the new gang free. Also as mentioned there is little sales of the game WHICH IS NOT because it is a poor setting, or that there is not enough interest, it is ONLY low in sales because how bad the game is.
SO IF and I would not hope for it, but if there is any new gangs, then yeah it would be Delaque, but considering that they will need much more then just a few cosmetic changes to make them work, and that there was no real depth to the new gangs, I can not see them adding them simply because they are so unique that they can not really be reskin of others.
Were did you get your info?
Logic dictates that the gangs were all made prior to release or at least around release and then 3 were held back to resell at a later date as DLC. Its fairly normal practice for Focus tbh.
It wouldn't make sense to make all the base gangs except 1.
with the way the pre-release media focused so heavily on the class system, we should have known they weren't going to make the game the fan-base wants. The best and most respectful thing they could do now is finish the house lineup then turn it over to the fans.
I have no idea how to go about programming this game, but i have a very strong idea of what I would change and how in terms of game design... they have a (mostly) solid foundation here, but made some incredibly dumb design choices along the way, seemingly in a vain attempt to make the game their own... it doesn't take a genius to see how poorly this fandom reacts to change.
