Fun Skill Combos
What are some fun skill combos that people have found?

Here's one I found for Orlock Lay Mechanics. Take Build: Health Dispenser, Build: Road Flare and Builder's Boon and upgrade all to level 3. Once you have this you can build both a Health Dispenser and a Road Flare for a total of 14AP (build the dispenser first to get the discount on the flare). If you can't get them all upgraded to 3, focus on Builder's Boon first since that will give you the most bang for your buck in terms of AP savings.

This is great for establishing an elevated vantage point for your heavies and deadeyes to shoot from. The Road Flare boosts their evasion so they are less likely to get shot and if they do take damage there's a health dispenser ready to hand for them to heal.

The main annoyance at the moment is that there is a bug that stops you from building in a heavy's aura zone so you have to do your building before the heavy activates the aura.

Escher Brawler.

Get Charge and Hit And Run for active skills, and the Persistence and Gunpoint Affinity passives.

There are several ways to utilize this combo. You can shoot an enemy(15 AP), then either charge them or use Death from Above(at -65% cost). If charge was used, then use Hit and Run, disengage(cost no AP) and walk a few steps back, then Shoot(-75% cost). Follow up with a Charge(-20 AP due to Hit and Run, so most often it is free) and repeat until you have spent all your AP and MP.

If Death from Above was used, simply follow it with Shoot(-75%), then Charge(-65%) and then continue as above.

You have a bunch of available skill slots for stuff like survivability or extra crit chance, so get what you want.

Orlock Brawlers can do something similar, but cant get the discount on all melee abilities.

Also, build skills in general require a lot of free space around it, which makes it very difficult to place it in many locations.

Fendelphi, I think you have just inspired within me a need to make Brawler focused Escher group. For the sake of humor, I shall call them the Bae Blades

One simple combo is Exertion and Composure on a Leader. Composure wipes the debuff from Exertion at the end of the ganger's turn, so it's effectively free AP.

Double-tap and Take Two is good on an Autogun Deadeye. If any of the shots from the burst crit you get the AP refund and if any graze you get the Take Two bonus, and it's possible for both to happen at once.

Though it's not incredibly common to get to do it, Anointed Weapons and Heavy Barrage can be ludicrous. I had a mission where there was a hatch as an extraction point, laid down two overlapping HBs on it with both Heavies Anointed, and just watched my victims dance.

Sounds absolutely disgusting

Nice, this thread is a goldmine, didn't hit me exertion was just a regular buff like any other, that means it's also a solid pick on high willpower juve builds
